I really do have the worst luck with cars....
while driving back from roosevelt yesterday my front drivers side tire started shedding rubber and loosing all the tread.... nothis or a blow out Icould handle, just pop on the spare and try not to go too fast... but no... the universe in its weird wisted way decided that the destruction of a tire just wasn't going to cut it.... the big bits of rubber flying off the tire somehow managed to get up into the undercarriage of the engine and rip out pretty much every wire in the electrical system, then wrapped it all around the axle for good measure. the mechanic says that it basically destroyed the "loom" or whatever it's called and severed everythign in the entire electricl system...
thankfully I got full covereage on this car, so it won't be too expensive to get repaired and back onteh road... but still it's an expense I would have prefered to avoid. I guess I can always look into filing a lawsuit against the tire manufacturers, as everyone I've talked to has said that they've never seen a tire juststart shedding rubber like that...
but on a lighter note, I got a job! I had applied to eh VA about two months ago for a veterans service representative position, and finally got offered the position today. it's basically just an office worker, but's good beneifits and better salary than I've ever made.
ok there's my update for the month, I'm a gonnago crawl back in my little hole now.
